What we collect, why, and how to opt out.
1. Lawful basis
We process personal data on three grounds: (a) legitimate interest for B2B outbound contact to publicly listed corporate contacts; (b) performance of a contract for active clients and candidates; (c) consent for newsletters and other voluntary opt-ins. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
2. What we collect
Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), company, message content. Candidate engagements: CV-derived data (employment history, qualifications, references) under performance of a contract. Server logs: IP address, user agent, request timestamps for security and debugging only, retained 30 days.
3. Sub-processors
Cloudflare (DNS, edge cache β EU + US), Hetzner Online GmbH (hosting β Germany/EU), Proton AG (email β Switzerland under the EU adequacy decision). Each is bound by GDPR Article 28 standard contractual clauses.
4. Retention
Outbound contacts: 24 months from last interaction, then deleted unless the contact converts to a client or candidate. Client records: 6 years after engagement (Norwegian Bookkeeping Act). Candidate records: as long as the candidate consents to future placements; deleted on request.
5. Your rights (GDPR Articles 15β22)
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Send requests to info@scandicrekruttering.com. We respond within 30 days. Complaints may also be filed with Datatilsynet, the Norwegian supervisory authority.
6. Cookies
This site uses no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no third-party JavaScript. The contact form uses a session cookie solely to prevent duplicate submissions. No consent banner is shown because no cookies require one.
