What we collect, why, and how to opt out.
1. Lawful basis
We process personal data on three lawful bases: (a) legitimate interest for B2B outreach to publicly-listed business contacts; (b) contract performance for active clients and candidates; (c) consent for newsletter signups and other voluntary opt-ins. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
2. What we collect
Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), company, message body. Candidate placements: CV-derived data (employment history, qualifications, references) under contract performance. Server logs: IP address, user agent, request timestamps for security and debugging only, retained 30 days.
3. Sub-processors
Cloudflare (DNS, edge cache — EU + US), Netlify (form receipt + static hosting — US), Proton AG (email — Switzerland under EU adequacy). Each is bound by GDPR Article 28 standard contract clauses.
4. Retention
Outreach contacts: 24 months from last interaction, then deleted unless converted to client/candidate. Client records: 6 years post-engagement (Norwegian bookkeeping law). Candidate records: as long as the candidate consents to future placements; deleted on request.
5. Your rights (GDPR Articles 15–22)
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Send a request to info@scandicrekruttering.com. We respond within 30 days. Complaints can also be filed with Datatilsynet (Norwegian Data Protection Authority).
6. Cookies
This site uses no analytics, no advertising trackers, no third-party JavaScript. The contact form uses a session-scoped cookie purely to prevent duplicate submissions. No consent banner is displayed because no cookies require it.
