Operative terms.
1. Operator
This website (scandicrekruttering.com) and the recruitment, HR advisory and workforce management services delivered through it are operated by Scandic Rekruttering AS, registered in Norway under org.nr 925 252 115, address Hanaveien 4, 4327 Sandnes, Norway. "We", "us" and "Scandic Rekruttering" refer to this entity throughout the Terms. Scandic Rekruttering AS is listed in Arbeidstilsynet’s (the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority) register of approved staffing agencies (godkjente bemanningsforetak).
2. Partner companies
Scandic Rekruttering AS focuses on recruitment, HR advisory and workforce management across the Nordic markets. In adjacent segments we collaborate with partner companies: Hjorton AB (Sweden; org.nr 559497-4726; Utsättaregränden 235, 226 47 Lund, Sweden) for digital services — marketing, web and AI — and BEEM for recruitment, staffing and structuring across the wider European market. Each engagement is contracted with the company responsible for the relevant segment and market; these Terms apply only to this website and to engagements with Scandic Rekruttering AS.
3. Scope of services
Recruitment (including trial-and-hire and direct placement), HR advisory (salary benchmarking, onboarding frameworks, compliance review), and workforce management (timesheet administration, payroll, replacement candidates). Specific engagement terms, commercial terms and allocation of liability are set out in a signed Samarbeidsavtale; this page does not by itself create any service obligation.
4. Use of the website
You may use the site to evaluate our services, contact us, apply to roles and read published material. You may not scrape, automate access, or use the site to send unsolicited communications. Forms submitted through the site are processed to respond to your enquiry; see the privacy notice for retention details.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the site (text, design, logo, code) is owned by Scandic Rekruttering AS or its licensors. You may quote or link to published material with source attribution; you may not reproduce or distribute content in volume for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
6. Liability
Scandic Rekruttering AS’ aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms is capped at the amount paid by the claimant to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or speculative losses, lost profits or business interruption, save in the case of gross negligence ("grov uaktsomhet") or wilful misconduct.
7. Content and availability
The site and its content are provided as-is for general information. We work to keep published material accurate and the site available, but give no warranty that content is complete, current or error-free, or that the site will be available without interruption. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, financial or other professional advice.
8. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices; use of linked sites is at your own risk. A link does not imply endorsement.
9. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. The invalid provision is replaced or construed so that its purpose is preserved as far as possible.
10. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes that cannot be resolved by negotiation are settled at Stavanger tingrett as agreed venue, in line with § 16 of our standard Samarbeidsavtale.
11. Changes
We may amend these Terms by publishing an updated version on this page with at least 30 days’ prior notice. The "last updated" date at the top reflects when the current version took effect.
